Architectural Technologist

Keenan Recruitment has been retained to recruit for an Architectural Technologist, by a dynamic architect practice delivering Multi Residential Schemes and high-end one-off dwellings nationwide, including Belfast & Dublin. The core expertise of the practice are grounded in the art and science of architecture, delivering buildings that are aesthetically pleasing, functional and energy efficient.

This is a wonderful opportunity to work on innovative designs from conception through to completion on site.

Criteria:

• Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology
• 2 years post degree experience is preferred, though not essential
• Ambitious young professional keen to learn and progress within a dynamic environment
• Willing to show initiative
• Excellent presentation skills
• Auto CAD essential
• Revit & BIM knowledge a plus though not essential
• Sketch Up proficiency a plus though not necessary

Role:

The successful candidate will be working closely with a practice Director assisting across all stages of multiple residential projects.

Planning:

• Site Analysis drawings and illustrations
• Sketch Design & Presentation
• Developed Design & Presentation
• Design & Planning Statements
• Assist in submitting Planning Applications

Building Control: 

• Detailed design
• Assist in preparing Building Control Applications & liaising with BC Officials
• Technical Details

Construction:

• Assist in preparing inspection reports
• Support Site meeting
• Support full design Team Meetings
